Amazing 2BR in Barranco in front of CENTRAL restaurant

We had a wonderful time visiting my son and grandchildren who live in Peru. Great base and location.

Pros: The two bedroom apartment was very comfortable. The wifi was ok but to be expected in Barranco generally. We found ourselves using our mobile roaming data additional to the wifi. The washing and drying facilities was great with no extra charge in the basement and where to dispose rubbish. The concierge were very helpful and friendly we used the translation app to be able to converse as Spanish is the main language here. Our stay felt very safe. Lovely shower and beds, clean and spacious. Enjoyed looking out over the small balcony any time of the day. There was no air conditioning but two freestanding fans which suited us. We would definitely return. Great bars and fantastic Peruvian food a must!

Cons: It was my understanding that as a pre payment wasn't taken from my card that i would be paying in full once i arrived. This however did not take place and Luis asked for a cash payment which was not specified on the booking or notified by Luis before arriving in Peru. As US dollars were requested there was an inconvenience and cost in using the cash dispensers over three days as there was a limit per day of how much cash could be withdrawn. It cost $30 in fees. This could have been planned in the UK if i had known before hand. Luis was apologetic as were booking.com who were very supportive. Luis would not and did not provide a receipt for payment which was very disappointing after promising he would do so.

Gorgeous little find!

Pros: The bed was comfy, the bathroom lovely, and the location was excellent! It was great there were 2 bathrooms too. It's so close to the main square and a great restaurant for breakfast called Felicia & Domingo - can highly recommend! I also recommend the ice cream place round the corner called Blu!

Great flat in thriving location

Pros: Lovely modern flat so close to restaurants and bars (really recommend qaytu for light bites and finally some proper coffee). The lift to the 4th floor was a bonus, and the chap on reception/concierge was most helpful. 10 min or so walk to the sea past boutique art shops and quaint restaurants, and the same to the thronging main square of Barranco.

Cons: Just to point out for the next travellers, it is by a fairly busy road but it's a quiet one by Peruvian standards and nothing a good pair of ear plugs can't drown out if need be, and that only applies to the ensuite room anyway as the other is round the back. I'd definitely stay again if going to Lima.

Pros: Comfortable apartment, well equiped, clean. Coffee shopes, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, public transport nearby as well as pathwalk to the beach.

Pros: Two bedrooms two baths and the kitchen...fridge was so nice to use. Elevator no stairs... much needed after hiking the Andes!

Cons: One table was had a broken leg. Easy fix. Let the grounds person know and left a note about it. We came back a week later. Still not fixed which was sad. Toilet seats aren't secured

Pros: Très bon emplacement, appartement très confortable. On nous a permis d'accéder très en avance ce qui nous a beaucoup aidé! L'appartement est bien équipé pour un séjour au top

Cons: Il serait bien d'ajouter une poêle pour la cuisine rapide et un plat pour le four pour ceux qui veulent faire un peu plus de cuisine

Cómodo, práctico y bien ubicado

Pros: Era práctico, bien ubicado y aislado de las zonas de diversión. Tiene en la cocina todos los utensilios necesarios. Mucha comunicación y fluida con el dueño o encargado del piso. Tiene una estupenda plaza de parking disponible para el coche

Cons: Estuve cómodo en el departamento, pero sugeriría el colocar un estor más oscuro en las ventanas de los dormitorios . Sólo eso

Pros: La souplesse de l’hôte, ayant effectué le check in à midi au lieu de 3h. Ai pu également laissé mes valises le lendemain avant de repartir en soirée à l’aéroport, vraiment plus qu’appréciable !
