Convenient, clean with friendly staff and lovely courtyard

Pros: Checkin was smooth with friendly and helpful staff. Location was very convenient! Located a 5min walk from the coach stop for our tout (Peru-hop- also a tour company I would recommend) and restaurants, activities, shops and the oasis which made it the ideal spot after a day or night out. The pool was also a lovely facility we took advantage of when we stayed especially given the heat during the day. Unfortunately there were a bit of work going on at the time to decorate for upcoming Christmas festivities. These did not disrupt or deminish out expereince here and we could still appreciate the courtyard. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed for a good night's rest.

An old colonial inn which spoke of former grandeur.

Pros: The courtyard gardens were incredible. Would have loved to see the fountain working. The pool helped while away a very hot day. Breakfast buffet was lovely. Was thankful for the ac.

Cons: We could have had more furniture, like a suitcase stand in our room.

Pros: lovely location, pool friendly staff, good service. a fridge to keep drinks cold!

Cons: no real negatives

Characterful hotel in good position

Pros: Characterful old building. Charming courtyard. Spacious room, large window from lounge area with view onto courtyard.

Cons: Property needs some tlc..

Very relaxing. It is older and has a few flaws but it has a lot to offer.

Pros: The hotel is an old traditional colonial style hotel situated on the oasis. The rooms are basic but the court yard and gardens are amazing. They have lots of trees, gardens, butterflies and many varieties of birds. The staff all say hello and there is a comfortable atmosphere about the place. I liked it a lot.

8/10. Enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn’t stay again because it’s overpriced.

Pros: Staff were excellent! Polite and obliging, offering to attend our every need. Location. Pool. Comfy bed. Good shower - hot and strong pressure. The gardens are beautiful.

Cons: It’s very old. All the furniture and decor is very tired and worn out. Lots of wear and tear marks on bathroom and furniture etc. This makes it overpriced. But despite this it was still comfortable. We slept well.

Step back in time

Pros: The best location in town, a beautiful building with faded grandeur. A great (but v shallow!) swimming pool with views of the desert. Nice garden too.

Cons: Needs some love & investment. But don’t let that put you off.

Fantastic charm with a great pool

Pros: Fantastic old feel charm with great staff, great food and a great pool.

Pros: Central location, hot shower, cosy bed and blankets. Staff were very friendly.

Charming and spacious

Pros: We loved how quiet it was. It has a lot of charm and character. An old hacienda feel. The hotel is right on the malecon and steps away from the lagoon. Everything is close by .... nothing more than a 5 min walk away. The pool next to the hotel is huge. They give you separate towels in the pool area. The breakfast is amazing! A large variety. Our room was very big with a little sitting room and small fridge. Lots of hot water and good water pressure (Which can be a problem in some places).

Cons: Know that this is one of the oldest hotels in this area and nothing will be absolutely perfect. We loved this place.
