Lovely stay at lovely setting in a quite nice room. A bit disappointed with breakfast.
Pros: Lovely room and the property. Nice staff and nice setting. Property’s dogs, cats and chickens are roaming free (and are very friendly) and horses can be visited at the back of the property.
Cons: Shower head needs a good clean as it is blocked up. Breakfast offering of 2 pieces of bread, butter, jam, juice, coffee/tea and 1 scrambled egg could be improved.

Good value for money, staff needs better training
Pros: Comfortable and quite room, nice to have a restaurant in the premises
Cons: The staff was not welcoming at all, the prices if the restaurant were absurdly high

Pros: Serenity Ica is such a quirky, character-filled place—a little oasis in the desert, quite literally! The beds were comfortable and I slept really well, and the big TV was great for streaming our shows. The only downside in the room was that the shower was quite low and the water flow was slow. The team were fantastic in organizing the perfect day for us. From an early morning pick-up in Lima, the drive to Paracas, a boat trip to the Balleras Islands, and a weaving workshop (a definite highlight!), to check-in and lunch at the hotel before an afternoon of dune-buggying and sandboarding in Huacachina—it was honestly the most fun day for our group. So much fun!
Cons: The only real concern was the car used for the day. It was quite uncomfortable for four people and all our luggage, and our driver, Oscar, nodded off at the wheel twice during the long drive. Luckily I noticed in the rearview mirror and was able to wake him, and we asked for more frequent breaks. While we offered to share driving, he insisted he was fine. It made the trip stressful at times, though he drove us back to Lima safely, and we managed by keeping him talking and taking breaks. He was lovely, but we would caution future guests about the long drives for safety. Overall, the accommodation and experience were wonderful—just be mindful of the transport conditions if you have a long day planned.

Highly Recommended
Pros: Amazing little oasis away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful hotel with fantastic old woodwork, pottery, furniture on display. Lovely little pool, friendly staff & amazing value for money. Just a short taxi ride from Huacachina. Perfect!

Quiet and friendly location.
Pros: Lovely and peaceful with a nice restaurant attached
Cons: Very low water pressure for shower, it was mainly just a trickle. Shower took a long time.

Beautiful place, great rooms, ideal with kids
Pros: Super location close to Huacachina, green area, friendly people, very nice warm room (also bigger than expected, we had the one with the two bunk beds and double bed), good quality matrasses, nice shower. For the kids friendly dogs, horses to feed and chickens.
Cons: The food in the restaurant was so-so. Very oily and too salty. Also the pisco sours we had better ones.

A quiet property between Huacachina and Ica
Pros: A quaint, almost antique property on the outskirts of Ica, not too far from Huacachina with the main advantage that it is QUIET! There is a garden and horses kept on the property so it is very nice. Some of the buildings are quite old but are clean and well-maintained.
Cons: In a bit of an isolated residential area, but you can walk to stores and restaurants (several blocks).

Excellent. One of the most charming, relaxing hotels we have ever stayed in.
Pros: Serenity Lodge is well-named. It is a very relaxing haven, in complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of a night in Huacachina. We loved the quirkiness: interesting collections on show and animals: chickens, dogs and horses.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. The approach is not very encouraging, but once you are inside the gates, it is beautiful.
