Very local experience.

Pros: The hostel was good secured and easy to find (on google maps as well as on maps me). The staff was really friendly and you felt secured. There is a good bus connection/station (Express lines) to the center only 15 minutes by foot away. In that direction, there is a café on the way (Atomico) and just before the bus station (Estación Tomás Valle - Metropolitano) In case you do not want to take the public transportation from the airport to the hostel, you can choose the offer of a Shuttle provided by the hostel.

Cons: The arrival to the hostel from the airport is a bit difficult on your own and the connection to the center still takes 1 hour even you have the express-bus lines close by. And there is rush hour - during that period all the busses of the express lines (and all other vehicles as well) are proper full and you do not have a chance to travel with your suitcase or large bagpack as there is literally no space for that.

Pros: We spent only a short night on the way to the airport but we had every thing we needed. Clean room with bathroom, comfy beds and even a free breakfast (sweet bun, jam, coffe, tea). Reception open 24/7, English speaking staff. They booked a transport to the airport for us. There is also a kitchen you can use to prepare your own meal. Very good value for money.

Cons: Taxidatum does not operate there. I didn't want to risk being late so used a hostel transport which seemed a little pricy (but the price is clearly communicated by the hostel so no surprise).

Comfortable place

Pros: The place was nice, i stayed in a 6 beds rooms and never had anyone there. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The internet was good enough to work.

Cons: There was no way to interact with anyone, no activities, no bar. It’s a one night stay hostel

Perfect for layover near Lima Airport

Pros: To be clear: This isn’t the place to stay if you want to explore Lima — the area isn’t nice. But if you have a layover or an early flight, this hostel is perfect! The staff is super friendly (they even made me coffee at 5:30 a.m.), the bed is comfortable, and the shower is hot. They also arranged a taxi to the airport for 40 soles. Sure, you could book an Uber for probably half the price, but if you’re catching a flight, you might not want to risk it being canceled multiple times.

Excellent staff

Pros: The staff were excellent. They were helpful, kind and made us feel safe from the moment we arrived.

Cons: The location was quite out of the way and a little dodgy. I did not feel safe in this area.

Good for a short stay near the airport. The neighborhood is dangerous especially at night, take a taxi to go out.

Pros: Well located to go to the airport. Good breakfast.

Cons: The neighborhood is dangerous at night. Not very inspiring at day, better to move in taxi.

Lima stopover

Pros: I enjoyed my stay there. The hostel is pretty good. You get a basic breakfast which is quite nice. I loved the rooftop terrace and there are a couple of shops and a few food options nearby. The staff were lovely, especially Santiago. He was helpful, very kind and gave me plenty of tips about the area.

Cons: The area is definitely not a tourist location. It is fairly close to the airport though so is handy for flying in/out of Lima. Having said that there is a big shopping centre, Plaza Norte about a 30 minute walk from there. You can also go through that to get to Avenida Tomas Valle which is where you can catch the Metropolitan bus to Lima centre. Weekdays are busier. Sunday was the quietest day so you could actually get a seat.
