1900 Backpacker's Hostel

Pros: I don't know where to start. The house is old interesting architecture built in the early 1900. So many beautiful details...an amazing rooftop where you get a delicious breakfast. The house is clean...many times the day the stuff takes care of bathrooms. Shower hot...the bed comfortable...and the best is Mrs Rebecca. She offered a free walking tour through the historical center..she knows a lot about history and interesting stories about Lima. She is caring about the guests very well.

Great experience in Lima

Pros: The hotel is in the perfect central location and in a wonderful historic building. It definitely has a lot of character but what really makes it the best is the staff. It is like you are with family. I highly recommend the walking tours. Rebecca (Beka) is so lovely and made the tour amazing.

Pros: The Hostal had a lot of space to chill and also they offer various activities, like dance courses, tours, or yoga. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend.

Cons: The noises of the Terrasse. But not so bad either.

Great place - super staff - fab location - I can recommend the hostel

Pros: Great hostel, staff were super nice. Especially Beka was very helpful - without her I would have gotten lost in the Spanish language when trying to book the bus to my next destination. She also shared a list of places to visit in Lima and organized walks in the area. Breakfast was good and also here the people working there were so friendly. I loved the common areas / mingle area as well. The hostel has several activities you can take part in. I will for sure stay here again if I come back to Lima.

Cons: Only little thing to improve are the power sockets in the dorm -specifically those by the bed - it was hard to make the plug «»hang in there». They do have lockers in the corridor where you can charge your electronics - but not very handy if you want your phone with you during the night.

Pros: I stayed in a private room and my stay was very pleasant. The hostel is very centrally located and very clean. Special mention to Becca: on my first day she helped me with a couple of questions I had, and I joined her walking tour, which was very informative and entertaining, she is great. Thank you for everything 1900 team.

Pros: Very nice vibe to the hostel, chilled but lost of people about. Breakfast included was a bonus and was very tasty

Pros: Amazing hostel, very clean, comfy bed, free breakfast and very central.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like but would suggest a fan in the bedroom as it’s very warm.

Pros: Very accommodating! Great staff. A beautiful old building in an amazing area, the historic district is a must-see. Bathrooms were clean, included breakfast was delicious. Stayed in a double room

Cons: Sheets on the bed were a little worn out, but clean

Social and well kept

Pros: This place runs well with plenty of guests and a lot of staff. There's nice little breakfast and prices are friendly. Choice of rooms and good dormitories. I would choose again

Cons: Location between two big city centre which is not ideal, but the good bus services make it reasonable

Excellent hostel for backpackers in the city centre

Pros: great building with fantastic features like high, ornate ceilings. very good service from staff. the deposit room is extremely useful, you can leave your bags there if you arrive early before check-in time for example. the breakfast is good and the facilities are good. there are plenty of places to chill, sofas etc in communal areas and a great rooftop terrace. location is very good with parque de la exposición right over the road
