Pros: It is strategically located in the center of Ica city, 8 mins walk from Cruz del Sur terminal in Ica and you can get a tuk2 right on the street of the hostel. Groceries, food stores and transportation are very accessible from the hostel.

Cons: No coffee and kettle to boil water

Pros: The best place to stay in Ica! The hostel is run by two brothers, both super friendly, welcoming and with super good vibes! They studied tourism, which is a big plus because they gave us an excellent introduction to the city, explained the main spots, and recommended amazing local places to eat at very affordable prices. On our first night, one of them gave us a pisco masterclass—he explained how to drink it properly, we mixed cocktails, and ended up having a fun night with lots of shots and games together with other guests (all for free!). The hostel itself is very clean and well organized, with super comfortable beds. It has a fridge and a microwave (no kitchen, but that’s not an issue since eating out in Ica is very cheap). The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the bus station and the city center. Highly recommended—we would definitely come back!

Amazing owners, comfortable rooms and cool rooftop lounge

Pros: The owners were absolutely spectacular and were extremely welcoming. The rooms were great and even though it was a 16 bed dorm the way it was designed minimised the noise and allowed me to get a very good sleep. Would definitely stay again!

Pros: Super friendly hosts. Very welcoming. Explained everything you could do whilst in Ica and didn't oversell any personal tours. Very clean!!! Comfy beds. Roof terrace. Place to wash and hang clothes. There is no kitchen, but a place to cut food and a microwave. Free drinking water :) Hosts also suggest local cheap eateries :) oh, and football on TV! NICE :) GRACIAS

Cons: The main downside for me was the surrounding area, which was quite dusty and noisy (lots of beeping taxis and tuktuks), but that is how Ica is. Shame no kitchen, but I knew this after booking and only spent 2 nights, so I didn't need to use much.

Pros: A great place to stay the guys who work there are all super friendly chatty and very very helpful. A lovely rooftop bar and sunbathing area.

Pros: Great location, a 5 minute walk from major bus stations. Facilities were clean and secure. Beds were comfortable. It can get a bit hot during the day (as the location is next to the dessert!) Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help me.

Cons: Not a problem for me but for those with mobility issues, there are no elevators. About 4 flight of stairs to the rooftop.
