This would be my first choice if I ever have to do it again.

Pros: The location was great. Central location in Lima. Not far from Miraflores and from the city centre, easy to get on the bus. You feel very secure in the building. Modern building and apartment. Micaela was very helpful with cab rides especially. Both hosts are very nice and friendly. Hot water & nice breakfast are a plus.

Cons: Nothing to dislike. Thankfully I like dogs. It was just fine for me but the room can be a bit small depending on how much space you need.

I had a very lovely stay.

Pros: The Room was small but cosy and clean. The owner Michael was very nice and helped me to get around the city, gave me tips for visiting and even organised my taxi to the airport.

Cons: The room is next to a main road, so it can me quite nosy during the night.

Pros: A very friendly homestay at a French-Peruvian couple & their dogs. I liked the location right between the center and Miraflores, with the main bus lines just in front of the house. Very personal atmosphere, as its just the hosts and you & no other guests. Nice views from the room on the 12th floor and decent breakfast in the morning!

Cons: Although my last-minute booking worked out well, as it is a homestay, booking a bit in advance is better, especially if you arrive late. Booking.com sends automatic confirmations and the host may not be aware.

Pros: Mikaela et Thierry ont été super tout au long de mon séjour chez eux, ils sont très gentils et aux petits soins avec leurs hôtes. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut à disposition, la wifi est top. Et l'appartement est très bien situé à Lima, je peux que vous recommandez d'y allez. En tout cas j'y retournerai quand je reviendrai à Lima !
