Chakana Family Home Lima Airport

Pros: I truly loved my short stay at Chakana Family Home. Denis went above and beyond by offering to pick me up from the airport very late at night (my flight landed at 1:30 a.m.) and he patiently waited for over an hour due to immigration delays. The room was cozy and well equipped with all the essentials, including a private bathroom with hot water. A real highlight was the delicious breakfast served in the morning. The location is very convenient, close to the airport and just a short Uber ride from Lima’s city center. I will definitely be back!

Pros: It's a very comfortable and friendly place to stay, with a bit of family around. The communication was great and easy and very reliable, I got picked up even from the bus station of Cruz del Sur and my transport to the airport was organized - very helpful for me. The area around is great with few restaurants - and the breakfast at the place was great! Pity that I stayed only for one night :)

Pros: Denis and his family were SO hospitable during both of my stays inbound and outbound from Lima, including airport pickup, efficient communications, kind/welcoming presence, and even a breakfast included before taking me back to the airport the following the morning. I would recommend their place in a heartbeat to anyone needing an overnight layover around Lima airport, it's great value for money, feels very safe and the rooms are very spacious/comfortable with other amenities including basic toiletries and towels.

Pros: Very close to airport. Denis is amazing and super friendly and helpful. Felt safe to arrive with them. He helped me get local money from an atm with no commission.

Cons: Beds were not too comfortable but ok, streetlights shining on us and a little noisy with someone playing video games all night and street dogs

Cons: The sheets were stained- they had been laundered and smelled fine, but the stains gave the impression of uncleanliness.

Pros: Denis (the owner) is a wonderful host. Very kind, hospitable & caring. He drove to pick us up from the airport and got up at 5am to take us back for our next flight. You stay in his house, we met his sons & his pets. A real gentleman.
