Pros: Absolutely amazing welcome from the owner, he put so much afford to make our stay the best, he was very nice, wonderful, helpful, friendly and willing to help, there were no problems even though we had a language barrier and such service is simply incredibly luxurious. Otherwise the room is nice and clean. There is a shop within walking distance where you can buy something. And most importantly, there is a luxurious breakfast, the best in all of Peru! we can only and only recommend it.
Cons: Even though it was great and the stay was so amazing, the place is very far from the center which would not be that much of a problem but going uphill for about 45 minutes from the center can be very tiring for some people. However, when we went in the evening we never felt unsafe. Only one small thing maybe it would be nice to fix the plugs because they were loose so sometimes our phone wouldn't charge.

Cons: We came in low season and the room was quite cold with no heater. They sorted out extra blankets for us which was very kind.

Pros: The owner is very friendly and we stored our bags whilst we went on 2 separate treks. It’s nice and quiet at night. Amazing value with good breakfast including fruits and yogurt, eggs, bread, drinks. The dog is super cute. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. It’s not that far from the centre and you get used to the hill. They provide hot water on request for tea in the evening which I liked. The shower was hot most of the time, but not the best pressure

Pros: The Hostel was clean. I had the impression that they really took care of guests and the staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was tasty. It was not big, but enough. The owner offers a catalogue of some one or more day tours so you can easily book it even one day in advance. They were also kind to store my luggage after i checked out. The location of the hostel is reasonable. 15 minutes walking distance from the historical center.
Cons: It would be really useful for guests to have a key to the front door. Sometimes i had to wait at the gate for quite a long time until someone opened it.

Great hostel
Pros: It’s a little bit out of the centre, about 20 minute walk, the people that own it were absolutely great, they picked us up from the bus station and we had a tour for 4 days and they kept our bags free of charge.
Cons: Nothing great value for money.

Homey, friendly and cute:)
Pros: Loved it! The owners are super nice and forthcoming. Honestly, even if the hostel had been horrible, they would have made up for it. Super friendly and just made you feel at home. The hostel is also very pretty, in a quiet location and has a cozy vibe to it. The rooms (we stayed in two different ones) are spacious and have a tv with streaming - a highlight. We also used the airport transport of the hostel at 4am, it went very smoothly. Breakfasts were also nice, with fruits, coffee/tea and eggs. It’s a cute and relaxing spot and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you so much for the hospitality!
Cons: It is a steady uphill climb from the city centre. So, we took the bus every evening (25ct, very frequent and direct) so that wasn’t an issue in the end. It would have been more of an effort if we had wanted to go back to the hostel during the day. We also didn’t have hot water all of the time but maybe we were just unlucky. Little upgrades points (they are pretty new): bins in the rooms and some nightstand lamps.

Lovely warm stay with helpful owners
Pros: The owners are absolutely lovely and warm and were very helpful, especially as we had a very early morning checkout. Breakfast was included but we checked out too early to try it. We were greeted with some hot tea and a tour, and the room was quite large and warm considering how cold Cusco gets at night. The television had netflix connected as well which was really nice to watch a movie. The location is far from the city but you can walk or take the bus.
Cons: the location is about 20 minutes walk from the centre, and the toilets were also a short walk through the courtyard from the room, which could be a bit annoying at night when it was cold.
