Good location but not easy to access
Pros: The location was good and the room was small but well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Anthony was such a helpful staff member who helped me with anything I needed.
Cons: It was difficult because I arrived late and the reception was only open until 3pm so I had to follow a complicated video to locate my room. The accommodation is a boarding house style, and there are other accommodations using the same entry point.

Pros: A warm welcome and full explanations from Antonio about the conditions of stay. The room was cozy albeit needs a few minor maintenance jobs eg the skylight curtain rail. Breakfast was freshly made with fruit juice, fruit salad, eggs to your pleasing and bottomless hot beverages, very tasty. Just one block away from plaza de Armas made easy walking around all city center. Casa Saphi was our base for traveling to Manchu pichu and kindly kept our large bags whilst away at no extra charge.
Cons: A little more care when servicing the room and providing clean towels.

Great Location, great service, great rooms, great breakfast. Wonderful stay.
Pros: Everything was wonderful. It was located close to the main square. 5 minute walk. The breakfast was great every morning and the bag breakfast was appreciated on the days we were sightseeing. We had two rooms, that were right across the hall from each other. The showers were hot after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. Internet was good as well. Minutes from many many restaurants.

Fantastic location in the heart of Cusco with friendly staff and great rooms.
Pros: I arrived to Casa Saphi late, outside of usual check in hours. When I did arrive Anthony was there to greet me and get me settled in. He was upbeat, informative and helpful despite the late hour of my arrival. The room was cosy and quiet and the included breakfast was more than satisfactory. All of the staff were lovely and kind and the Casa De Armas in about 300m down the road so a short walk and youโre right in the heart of Cusco!

Pros: The staff were very helpful, kind, relaxed and made me feel welcome immediately. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are in a heritage building with many quirks, but they have been kept clean and decorated beautifully. The location was amazing for me. In June, when I visited, there were celebrations every day for cusco and Quechua and other Indigenous cultures. Group dancing and singing, both formal and informal, parades, dressed up animals. The hotel is located very close to the main square but I did not hear any of the noise of the festivities.
Cons: Not specific to this hotel, many buildings in Cusco do not have indoor heating. I used the heaters provided by Casa Saphi but was very glad I had brought my slippers and sweater! There is no view because of the nature of the heritge building. The rooms are arranged around a small courtyard that is shared with local residents and other small hotels.
