Acogedor departamento en el centro de Barranco

Easy experience, spacious well equipped apartment with owners that go above & beyond, central location.

Pros: Central, owner & daughter so helpful, just an easy experience

Cons: Hard to find, has door number but no signs, locked gate with choice of intercom but no labels to tell you which button to press. The taxi driver wanted to drop me off, but I didn't want to be left on the street. Not sure if it was my location, as on my own. It was noisy on the streets, but got used to that in Peru!

Barranco stay

Pros: Carlos was a very friendly and helpful host the apartment is exactly as advertised, great location in Barranco near bars restaurants and supermarket. Felt very safe with the outer door to street. Lastly good value for money.

Cons: As someone who enjoys cooking the kitchen amenities were basic. The propane tank powered hob I didn't mind but maybe time to invest in some better cook ware/pots and pans...

Good stay in Lima

Pros: The host was nice and helpful (he sent us a file with a lot of info about the neighbourhood and recommendations for restaurants and services). The location was in the heart of Barranco and felt quite safe! The flat is like in the pics.

Cons: The shower didn't have good hot water and was difficult to regulate the temperature. The cleanliness could be improved.

Pros: Very warm,, welcome, which is essential ,amazing location ,perfecto access to shops and local eateries. Accommodation was clean and tidy, very happy with our stay thankyou.

Pros: Beautiful accommodation of beautiful family. Thank you for all your help. Highly recommend this place, the family will help you with anything you need. Clean and safe place to stay.

Fantastic budget entire apartment in a GREAT location

Pros: The apartment was simple, yet very functional and effective. The location is in a PRIME spot right in the heart of Barranco. It also felt extremely safe as it was inside a gated community. The owners were amazing. They had a cheatsheet for us which explained everything about the apartment AND everything in the local area from restaurants to attractions which was awesome. They also offered their help, expertise and services for any tourism or travel plans that we had for Peru. If you're lucky you may get a visit from the owners cat or dog (both adorable) which we had the pleasure of a couple of times. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone on a budget because the value for money is just too good. 👌👍 Sidenote: this property only takes payment in cash US$ / PEN$. This caught us a touch off guard as we had to pay an additional US18 in ATM fees to withdraw the full amount.

Cons: Gripes... The shower wasn't great. Nothing to hold the head up so made it somewhat difficult to use both hands when washing yourself. (The pressure and hot water system worked a treat though) The floor was a bit sandy/dirty. I had to resweep a couple of times. Extra pillows would be better.

Pros: The location was perfect, close to.many restaurants, squares, beaches, public transportation. the hostess was very nice and helpful.

Pros: Basic apartment at a good price close to all the action in Barranco and the Metropolitano bus line. Highlight of the apartment is once you close the door to the bedroom you block out 95% of the noise from noise polluted Lima. Hosts Carlos and family were very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous location and host

Pros: Location was fabulous just off the centre of Barranco but inside a quiet, safe gated compound. Carlos the host and his daughter were amazing, he lent us a card for the rapid transport bus to the city centre and came with us to the stop to help us (non-Spanish speakers) load on the fare, and booked us an airport taxi on the local app. The apartment was comfortable with plenty of hot water (not always a given in Peru)

Cons: The kitchen area was a little grubby - sticky stove - and some parts of the bathroom could have done with a deep clean
