VILLA APU CHICON (Apu Wasi & Inti Wasi)

Tranquil retreat with exceptional views, once-in-a-lifetime

Pros: We were expecting beautiful… But this place is spectacular. So much care and consideration has gone into the building of this valley retreat, from the beautifully landscaped gardens to the cosy and comfortable villas. There are even a couple of resident alpacas and three rabbits that roam the garden. It’s even more lovely than the photos show. Onsite housekeeper Yuly was so friendly and helpful, and owner Gustavo was very responsive with his recommendation for an excellent driver and transport for the 3 days. Both he and Yuly provided exceptional customer service. Another reviewer commented that this is the best place they stayed during their entire 6 month stay in South America… I would go further and say this is one of the best places we have stayed all over the world (and we have travelled a lot). Thank you so much, we came a very long way to be here and we very much hope to return one day.

Cons: Nothing - we loved it.

Beautiful, remote, but you must pay for extras. Bring all your own food and supplies.

Pros: We loved the grounds and the remote location. It was beautiful and peaceful. The house is beautiful and has been decorated beautifully. Bertha is a gem…she is the manager, housekeeper, fire starter, and everything in between.

Cons: From one SUPERHOST TO ANOTHER…..For a little bit more effort and expense on the owners part, the stay WOULD be 5⭐️: provide coffee, tea, milk, fresh bread, fruits from the garden, spices, more toilet paper, soap and cleaning supplies. Everything is an extra (and it shouldn’t be if it’s listed): you have to pay for laundry, pay for the hot tub, sign off on the cost of things, and it makes you feel not as at home. We have stayed in a lot of places in Peru (and around the world) and this isn’t always the case. For what you pay, make the experience more well-rounded and you will make the guests feel more comfortable.

Pros: La casa hermoso y tiene todo, el jardín parece de un cuento precioso jaja belleza pro todos lados. Y el servicio excelente Berthita nos ayudó con todo!

Pros: La ubicación es excelente ya que está alejada del centro de Urubamba y hay mucho silencio. La chica encargada de la limpieza es excelente persona, muy amable y preocupada por que estemos bien. Las instalaciones son muy bonitas.

Pros: El jardín, la casa, el Jacuzzi y en general las instalaciones muy cómodas. Muy bonitas habitaciones, cómodas y perfectas para la familia. El dueño del lugar muy preocupado y atento. También el personal.

Cons: Había un ruido sutil pero constante de una bomba de agua creo que corría en la noche. Nada grave pero podrían buscar una forma de aislaron mejor.

Pros: Villa Apu Chicon is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed in in the Sacred Valley. The buildings are an architectural dream. Pristine and luxurious with stone and wood. And the gardens are beautiful. I felt held by the surrounding mountains.

Cons: Горячая вода в душе то есть то нет. Будьте готовы заплатить за обязательную уборку 15 долларов в день хотите вы этого или нет. И ещё при оплате картой прибавьте 6 процентов к цене. Перед выездом приходит персонал проверять не нанесли ли вы ущерб дому иначе придется оплачивать согласно прайсу хозяина.

Pros: Very nice private villa with a housekeeper on site. Close to everything in Sacred Valley.

Great stay

Pros: Quiet. Beautiful. Comfortable rooms. Yuly, the housekeeper, was very thorough and nice.

Cons: Barebone amenities. No shampoo, no body wash, no tea.
