Overall amazing!
Pros: The staff were so welcoming, the property was immaculate, had an amazing view and was well priced. They did not serve food for dinner but recommended a local chicken restaurant which was honestly the best meal we’ve had in Peru so far! I left my charger at the property and the staff notified me and offered to send it to my next location.
Cons: We loved everything about our stay, it is just a relatively remote area so would need taxi or Ubers to the nearby towns

So good I extended my stay!
Pros: My room at Casa Yanahuara was perfect for a reset and pause before further exploring, With a large picture window with views to the valley, great shower, desk and great internet for adventure planning and hammocks in the garden to nap in and a rooftop to watch the stars on. Added bonus of amazing pizza delivered to my room (organised by the amazing hosts) The collectivo stops right outride allowing a low cost and convenient travel method to the larger villages of the Sacred valley
Cons: Nothing, the accommodation was exactly what I expected. I knew the location was in a smaller village outside Urabamba.

I don't recomand
Pros: The room offers a lovely view. There’s a great pizza place just around the corner. The hosts were kind and welcoming. TV with netflix Parking lot ok
Cons: Breakfast was quite poor. On the second day, the table next to us was served eggs, but we weren’t offered any. I was too shy to ask, but it left me feeling uncomfortable. The accommodation is quite far from Urubamba, and since Uber doesn’t work in the area, we ended up renting a car to get around. Also, the room wasn’t cleaned at all during our 3-night stay — not even the trash bin was emptied.

Pros: We had great stay at Casa Yanahuara. The view is incredible. The room is clean, hot shower, the host is super nice and helpful. They recommended to visit The hummingbird sanctuary which is 10 min away and must visit. The breakfast was good, coffee, bread, juice, all you need to start a day.

Really pleasant
Pros: The room was really clean. Bed was comfortable. The view out of the window was beautiful. It was a really nice place to just relax. Breakfast was simple but nice. Easy to get collectivos from out the front into Urabamba.
Cons: Hot water was a little unreliable but was good when working

Pros: Well appointed room, new clean, Netflix etc, warm with hot water, very comfortable. Plus it had a beautiful view of the Sacred Valley. The owners were very helpful with any request - I recommend if you are in the area
Cons: It was not easy to find as the sign is under the awning it is next to their mini market; breakfast was adequate

Great place to stay
Pros: Spacious rooms, comfy beds and good WiFi. The family the runs the hotel is very welcoming and accommodating (they ordered pizzas for us when we arrived late). The breakfast is simple but nice, including bread, jam, fruit, juice and coffee/tea. The view from the rooms was beautiful!

A fantastic place where I got better from altitude sickness
Pros: I came here as I was quite unwell with altitude sickness in Cusco, and saw this was very well priced and had that beautiful view. The view from that bedroom is much better in person, the photos on here while they look great do not do it justice how great it looks. Mari Cruz and Juan José went above and beyond to help me get myself back together from the altitude sickness, and help with suggestions and bookings to help with my wife arriving from the airport and to help with our onward journey to Machu Picchu. I also fell in love with Yanahuara. A nice and humble village that while on the road between Urubamba and Ollantaytambo, does have an off the beaten path vibe, but having some places to eat and plenty of convenience stores. The walk from the village to the river is very nice and relaxing. And all at a price that was amazing! I can see why the place gets fully booked up!
Cons: The only issue was with the water at times, but this is a problem in the wider region. I was able to have hot showers daily.

Pros: Beautiful clean apartment 😍 on a way to Machu Picchu. Place to park a car in front. All safe with cameras. Kitchen to cook your meals if you only want. Little shop on site. Extremity friendly and helpful owners! Stayed there two times! Highly recommend!!!
