Cómodo y Acogedor Departamento Cerca de Barranco y el Circuito de Playas

A lovely apartment and really cozy. Unusual payment practices and a noisy environment.

Pros: The apartment was very clean and tidy, just like in the pictures. The bed was really comfortable, and the blanket was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are many great shops nearby, and it’s easy to get anywhere from here. I felt safe here and loved cooking in the apartment. It was a really cozy and homely place for a five-day stay.

Cons: I don’t understand why I had to pay for my accommodation in cash in dollars. They don’t accept online payments, credit cards, or Peruvian Soles. I found this to be quite ridiculous. Also, the noise from the hallway was very loud, and the traffic noise could be heard a lot, so the sound insulation is poor. The staff was nice, but it was a bit strange that when I accidentally broke a glass, I was asked afterward to pay 4 dollars via PayPal for the broken glass. They also only give you one roll of toilet paper, and nothing more. They didn’t mention this when I arrived. When I asked for more paper, they told me that guests need to buy extra themselves. In nearby shops, toilet paper is only sold in large bags, so I bought several packages of tissues instead. This was a bit unusual, and I would have expected better hospitality.
