Aussie and Malaysian in Lima, Peru
Pros: The location was a very short walk to Plaza de Armas and there were heaps of restaurants around, with good food and prices. The apartment size was good and had 2 x double beds and a kitchenette, which was so nice to have after travelling for a month. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. We had great communication with Alex (owner/manager) who arranged for an easy pick up of the keys, after hours, with the onsite caretaker. Alex also came to us to collect the payment and even changed money personally with us from USD to Peruvian Soles. I also arranged airport transfer both ways, through Alex and just paid him directly, which was so convenient. Alex also owns and runs his own travel agency, so contact him in advance if you need any tours etc. booked. Thanks Alex we really enjoyed our stay there mate!
Cons: I think the only issues we had was that the sound travelled a bit throughout the unit block, so we could hear the neighbours from time to time, but this was not a big issue for us. Also Alex, we saw there was a washing machine in the apartment but it was not connected. We would have loved to have used it and I am sure others would also, so if you could get that connected and working mate, that would be fantastic. Cheers.

Pros: - close the center, shops, restaurants, appartement clean, close to the sightseeings - host gave information where needed for transportation
Cons: - I ordered a taxi at my arrival but the taxidriver wasn’t there, called the host twice. And if I asked the host about the reason why the taxidriver he said at it was not his responsibility. Be careful if you arrange a taxi with him. - No isolation, you hear everything
