We have had a great time at a beautiful place with an excellent host!
Pros: Staying at Summit Viewpoint was a very good decision. The view from the room and the terrace was amazing, we were close to the centre, and the area is very beautiful. Alejandro, our host, was amazing - organizing trips, a visit of an exciting football match and being our guide. He was so helpful that we felt at home from the very beginning. When we go back to Cusco one day, we will definitely go there again.

Great stay and I would happily stay again.
Pros: Location is fantastic (up many stairs, but that is Cusco AND what gives it the amazing view). Hot showers Host is absolutely incredible. Alejandro goes above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. I was sick when I arrived and he even offered to arrange a doctor to visit me at the apartment. Beds are comfortable. Provides filtered water for cheaper than you can buy anywhere in town. Laundry service available and cheaper than anywhere you could pay to have it done. I needed an extra pot at some point and he helped me get more for cooking.
Cons: The only thing I can really say is to have blackout curtains in the sleeping rooms for night time. I always have a sleeping mask though, so I was fine.

Great experience in Cusco
Pros: the host is amazing - we were in contact before the trip and his communication via whatsapp was always very good. he made sure we experienced a traditional meal celebrated on Good Friday together with other guests and locals. He gave us a tour around Cusco and tool us to very special places in the town.
Cons: during the night, it can be very cold, the apartments are not fully refurbished as yet, but the host is doing his best to improve the apartments. It was great for 2 nights before trekking to MP but it is not the place to stay if you are picky.

Pros: I can't recommend Summit View enough, the view is really spectacular, the owner is super friendly and is available at any time to help with any problems or give information that you may need,the beds are super comfy and it's a short distance away from the town center but just enough outside to be nice and quiet at night,will definitely be back 😀

Pros: Alejandro, the host, is amazing. We went on multiple tours with him and every time he gave us a great and authentic experience. Our room was comfortable with a great view, the hot shower was downright amazing! If anything was missing Alejandro was quick to resolve this. In the end we stayed for almost 3 weeks because we enjoyed our stay that much. Also: Thomas the cat is cute.
Cons: The home sometimes had some technical issues however Alejandro, being a great host, immediately fixed anything that came up. It did not impact our trip or our enjoyment.

One of our fondest memories
Pros: The host is very knowledgeable about the city and speaks perfect English which is nice if you don't speak good Spanish. He gave us a free tour and offered tons of free advice and recommendations for going to Macchu Picchu and Rainbow mountain. We also got to use the washing machine for free and leave or bags for free when going on our Macchu Picchu trip. Would recommend!
Cons: The room was quite cold but that seems to be normal in this part of town. The bed had enough warm blankets to keep you hot through the night.

Great hospitality!
Pros: Alejandro was a great host. He was always happy to help whenever needed and gave us a free tour through Cusco. He is not offering a ‘one size fits all’ service, but really checks what his guests need and want, to make sure they have a great stay. Muchas gracias Alejandro! We’ll definitely come back.
Cons: We stayed in the apartment for families (5 people). There were steps to enter the apartment and to enter the bathroom. For us this was no problem, but for others this might make it less accessible. The other apartments however do not have those steps and also have great views.
