Home away from home

Pros: The apartment is great, very homely and has all the facilities required for cooking. I also like the location next to great restaurants and coffee shops and close to central Cusco. And hot water in the shower!!

Cons: Owner requested us to use their taxi driver from the bus station when we arrived in Cusco. This driver also checked us in to the apartment and gave us keys. However he charged 30 soles for the 1 mile trip which is at least double the actual price and the most expensive taxi I had in Peru. Strange behaviour. I don’t think its the owners fault but BE AWARE of this taxi driver.

Pros: Location, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Open free access to great washing machine, drying terrace.

Cons: Apartment was cold. There is a broken/missing window in inner lightwell in second bedroom right next hot water gas boiler. Also slightly noisy as a result.

Pros: A super comfy and well equipped apartment. Really cool location in San Blas. We booked a few days and then went on a multi day tour and came back. The owner very kindly let us leave our bags and keep the keys till we came back

Lovely place, lovely host

Pros: The fabrics, the little touches eg a hot water bottle

Cons: I would have really loved the option of a welcome pack with some fruit, local breads, butter, fresh juice etc. There was a huge pile of leaflets and flyers under the table but honestly I didn't feel to search through them all.

Perfect experience all round. Everything looked after by host. Like a home away from home

Pros: Location perfect, less than 10 walk minutes away from central plaza, very quiet and safe. Super comfortable bedroom and living area, ideal facilities including washing machine. Super responsive host

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: The apartment was spacious, clean and functional. It was an ideal place to stay for a few days. It was in easy walking distance of all the spots in Cusco. The host was very kind and helpful, always answering questions through messages. This was a great place to stay!

Pleasant and good value stay in the heart of Cusco

Pros: The apartment was set off the road in a complex of homes and apartment buildings and was within easy reach of the centre of Cusco (less than 10 minutes walk away).

Pros: Quiet location within reach of the centro. A good place to rest and adjust to the altitude. Be sure to visit The Perla Criolla restaurant close by for quality, well priced modern Peruvian food.

Lovely apartment great value for money

Pros: A well equipped apartment with a very comfortable bed in a great location within walking distance to many of the citys attractions. Good WiFi. I stayed for 2 nights for $50 which I thought was great value.

Cons: The shower head needs fixed to the wall. The TV had no service for the duration of my stay which was disappointing but the owner offered me a full refund when I complained about the handling of it. I declined the kind offer because apart from that the apartment was very comfortable and great value. With a working TV I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Pros: They arranged airport pick up for us and allowed us to check in early. Apartment very spacious and beds extremely comfy and cosy! Great location in Cusco.

Cons: It got a little cold at night but they provide heaters and hot water bottles so it’s no big issue at all!
